Welcome to the very first dev blog post for AimatriX — a lightweight, always-on crosshair overlay tool designed for gamers, testers, and developers who need precision targeting without game limitations.
What is AimatriX?
AimatriX is a desktop application that places a persistent crosshair on your screen — regardless of which game or app you’re using. Whether you’re practicing aim in an FPS, testing mouse input latency, or just want more control over your screen center, AimatriX is built for you.
It’s simple, clean, and non-intrusive, and best of all: it’s open source.
Why I Built It
Some games don’t include a crosshair. Some hide it in certain modes. Others offer limited customization. As someone who wanted consistency, precision, and control, I decided to build AimatriX from scratch—with a focus on usability, performance, and freedom.
This is just the beginning.
What’s Next?
Future updates will bring:
- 🎨 GUI-based crosshair selection, creation & settings
- ⌨️ Hotkeys for quick toggles
- 🔄 Presets, profiles, and cloud sync (maybe!)
